Tenuta Vitalonga Chardonnay
Alongside its various red wines, Tenuta Vitalonga also offers a white wine made from 100% Chardonnay. This grape variety grows on a small part of the family Maravalle’s estate of over 25 hectares and gives the wine a special flavour of the terroir. After a short maturation of 2 months in French oak barrels, this wine is ready to drink after a further period of ageing in the bottle.
With an intense yellow colour and notes of citrus fruits, acacia blossom and vanilla on the nose. On the palate it is lively yet refined, with a good acidity and a pleasant aftertaste. An elegant wine with a good structure, also suitable for longer cellaring. It pairs very well with grilled fish dishes, or is also delicious as an aperitif wine.
