Cantina La Veneranda Aureo Umbria Bianco IGT
The La Veneranda winery has been producing wines and olive oil in this region since 1568 and boasts a very long tradition. The name “La Veneranda” only emerged at the end of the 20th century and traces back to Maria Aloisa, who ran the estate from 1827 and earned the name “La Veneranda” (The Venerable One).
Aureo white wine is a blend of 70% Grechetto and 30% local grape varieties. A very fresh wine with beautiful aromas of white flowers and fruits like apricots and a touch of minerality. Dry and fresh, yet very pleasant on the nose. Serve this wine at a temperature of 10 to 12 degrees Celsius. Perfect as an aperitif or with medium-aged Pecorino, pasta dishes, chicken or turkey, and of course, fish. Experience the quality of La Veneranda: always something special.
