Cantina La Veneranda Aureo Umbria Bianco IGT
The La Veneranda estate has been producing wine and olive oil in this area since 1568 and can look back on a very long tradition. The name “La Veneranda” only emerged at the end of the 20th century and goes back to Maria Aloisa, who ran the estate from 1827 and earned the name “La Veneranda” (the venerable one).
The white wine Aureo is a cuvée of 70% Grechetto and 30% local grape varieties. A very fresh wine, with lovely aromas of white flowers and fruits such as apricot and a light minerality. Dry and fresh, yet very pleasant on the nose. Drink this wine at a temperature of 10 to 12 degrees Celsius. Very suitable as an aperitif or with mature pecorino, pasta dishes, chicken or turkey dishes and of course with fish. See for yourself the quality of La Veneranda: always something special.
