Poggio Lupo in Allerona produces special wines from local grape varieties such as Verdello, a medieval variety.
The vines of this variety are already around 60 years old. Over the past few years, owner Massimo Morgante has completed his project: the new construction of the cellar, including 4 guest rooms on a hill near Allerona.

Poggio Lupo, worth a visit! Discover the wines and explore the surroundings. Part of the access road is a “strada bianca”: known from cycling tours in Tuscany, for example. Public roads that are not asphalted. From this special location of the estate, you have a distant view of the cathedral of Orvieto! Very beautiful to see from a distance of over 15 km.
