Dessert wine

Dessert wines are mostly enjoyed in Italy as an accompaniment to dessert. These relatively sweet wines are richer, full-bodied, and aromatic. A dessert wine from Umbria is also a lovely change of pace on a beautiful summer evening. These sweet Italian wines are, so to speak, the finishing touch for the palate.
