Umbriaweine returns with a new discovery: the Perticaia winery in Montefalco produces top-quality wines. Our olive oil supplier, Carlo Peltristo, took us along for a wine tasting! And what a tasting it was! This very delicate rosé takes wine to a new level.
On the nose, floral notes like wild roses, alongside exotic fruits and a hint of cantaloupe. On the palate, an explosion of fruit, such as peach and citrus, with a long finish. This rosé is perfect as an aperitif, but also pairs well with fresh fish and light meals.
This rosé from Perticaia is balanced, fresh, and harmonious in flavor. Serve this wine at 10 to 12 degrees Celsius—a true feast for your palate!
