Agricola Casaioli Tommasino Trebbiano Umbria IGT
Giacomo Casaioli, from the small place of Fontignano, has for several years produced wines that fall under the Trasimeno wine region. With this 100% Trebbiano Spoletino, a native grape variety of Umbria, he markets a very interesting white wine, and with this wine he won a medal at the annual Trasimeno wine event in Corciano, called Corciano Castello di Vino!
The Tommasino is named after Giacomo’s son and has notes of citrus and aromatic herbs on the nose; on the palate it is pleasant with little acidity and has a long-lasting flavour with notes of yellow fruits, and is soft, fresh and full. This wine is very suitable as an aperitif and pairs with fish dishes, shellfish, but also various cheeses.
