Giacomo Casaioli, from the small village of Fontignano, has been producing wines for several years that fall under the Trasimeno wine area. With this 100% Grechetto, Umbria’s native grape variety, he markets a very interesting white wine.
This wine delights with very soft aromas and notes of wild white berries and nuts on the nose, and is pleasant on the palate with low acidity and a slight bitter note in the background. This wine is ideal as an aperitif and pairs well with risotto dishes, antipasti with mozzarella, salami and ham, as well as other cheeses.
