Giacomo Casaioli, from the small place of Fontignano, has for several years produced wines that fall under the Trasimeno wine region. With this 100% Grechetto, the native grape variety of Umbria, he markets a very interesting white wine.
This wine delights with very soft notes of wild white berries and nuts on the nose, and on the palate is pleasant with little acidity and a small bitter note in the background. This wine is very suitable as an aperitif and pairs with risotto dishes, antipasti with mozzarella, salami and ham, but also with other cheeses.
