Poggio Lupo In Bocca al Lupo Umbria Bianco BIO IGP
We were very surprised when we visited the Poggio Lupo estate in Allerona again in October 2025. Massimo came up with a new white wine. A wine with a special name and label. A crazy wine, according to the winemaker. “In bocca al lupo” literally means “into the mouth of the wolf”, but is used to wish someone good luck!
A young wine, fresh and citrus on the nose with a hint of chamomile. On the palate citrus with a fresh and soft flavour and a balanced acidity. This cuvée of 5 different, mostly local grapes shows the quality of this area, not far from the border with Tuscany.
