Castello di Montegiove Gatto Gatto Orvietano Rosso DOC
This red wine is a cuvée of Sangiovese and Canaiolo Nero. Ageing first takes place in steel tanks, then a further ageing in older Slovenian oak barrels for 9 months, and then the final ageing in concrete tanks for 18 months.
This wine is fresh and fruity and has balanced tannins with ruby-red nuances, and lots of red fruits on the nose. On the palate cherry, blackberries and a hint of vanilla.
