Tenuta Vitalonga Chardonnay
Alongside its various red wines, Tenuta Vitalonga also offers a white wine made from 100% Chardonnay. This grape variety grows on a small part of the Maravalle family’s estate, which spans over 25 hectares, lending the wine a distinctive taste of the terroir. After a brief ageing period of 2 months in French oak barrels, this wine is ready to drink following further ageing in the bottle.
An intense yellow color, with notes of citrus fruits, acacia blossom, and vanilla on the nose. Lively yet refined on the palate, with good acidity and a pleasant finish. An elegant, well-structured wine that is also suitable for longer aging. Pairs wonderfully with grilled fish dishes, or makes a delicious aperitif wine.
