The Poggio Lupo estate in Allerona specialises in wines from the area and produces all wines on an organic basis. In 2025, after almost 2 years of construction, owner Massimo has almost completed the new cellar. The old building was completely renovated, or rather rebuilt, and will soon also include accommodation for a lovely holiday.
Poggio Lupo in Allerona markets this wine, which is made from 100% Petit Verdot. A special grape variety that grows very well in the Allerona area and produces a good-quality wine. With a lovely colour in the glass and soft tannins and red fruits on the nose, this red wine delights with a soft yet full flavour on the palate.
