Cantina La Veneranda Riccardo I Umbria Rosso IGT
The La Veneranda estate has been producing wine and olive oil in this area since 1568 and can look back on a very long tradition. The name “La Veneranda” only emerged at the end of the 20th century and goes back to Maria Aloisa, who ran the estate from 1827 and earned the name “La Veneranda” (the venerable one).
This Riccardo I is a very young red wine, but full of flavour. With a lovely dark purple colour, this wine delights with aromas of red fruits such as sour cherries, strawberries and herbs like vanilla and star anise.
The ideal drinking temperature is 16 to 18 degrees Celsius and it is an ideal companion to game dishes and red meat, also with plenty of herbs. A lovely discovery.
