The Vitalonga Phiculle is characterised by an aroma of fresh, dark berries with a fine note of cherries and wood. The Vitalonga Phiculle is a high-quality cuvée of Montepulciano grapes and Cabernet Franc. The vines grow on a calcareous clay soil that gives the grapes a harmonious connection to minerals.
The hand-picked grapes mature in barrique, where this fine wine develops its full-bodied character. A good balance of acidity and tannin ensures a pleasant, fresh finish. The Vitalonga Phiculle is well suited to meat dishes or to hearty specialities of Italian cuisine.
